Isabel Soto

Isabel Soto studied art at the Institute of Fine Arts in the city of Cali. At the age of 19, she left her country to continue her career as an artist. She lived between London and Madrid, that gave her the opportunity to participate in a variety of workshops and foundations in the United States and Europe.

Sculpting is the medium she chooses to express herself as an artist, as it allows her to convey her innermost feelings in the form of art. Her interest in the origin of the symbolism of man and hand in the everyday experiences of life has driven her to create her work with passion. The colors and shapes, the reflect realism and the non-verbal language, intend to make interact urban cultures with her primitive and essentialist vision.
